Reangle ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our AI-powered social media management service. This policy applies to all users globally and complies with GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and other applicable data protection laws.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (account details, email, profile information, bookmarked URLs, social media credentials for connected accounts), information automatically collected (usage data, device information, IP address, browser type, cookies), and information from third parties (social media profile data when you connect accounts, payment information via Stripe). We do not collect sensitive personal data such as health information, biometric data, or financial account numbers (payment processing is handled by Stripe).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and maintain the service (process bookmarks, generate drafts, post to connected accounts); improve and personalize your experience; communicate with you (service updates, billing notifications, customer support); ensure security and prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations; and analyze usage patterns to improve our AI models and features. We process personal data based on: contract performance (providing the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (improving service, security, analytics), consent (marketing communications, optional features), and legal compliance (tax, financial reporting, legal requests).
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We share your information with: service providers and sub-processors (Supabase, Google LLC, Stripe, Upstash, Resend, Inngest—see our DPA for full list); connected social media platforms (when you authorize auto-posting); law enforcement or regulators (when required by law or to protect rights and safety); and business transfers (in case of merger, acquisition, or sale of assets). We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. We do NOT share your content with AI training datasets beyond what is necessary to generate your drafts.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use essential cookies (authentication, session management, security), functional cookies (preferences, settings, UI state), and analytics cookies (usage patterns, performance metrics). We do NOT use advertising or tracking cookies for cross-site profiling. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may affect service functionality. We respect Do Not Track (DNT) signals where technically feasible.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including: AES-256-GCM encryption at rest; TLS 1.3 encryption in transit; scrypt key derivation for sensitive credentials; role-based access control (RBAC); regular security audits and penetration testing; employee background checks and confidentiality agreements; secure development practices (code review, dependency scanning); incident response procedures; and regular encrypted backups. While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you have rights to: access your personal data (request a copy of data we hold about you); rectify inaccurate data (update your profile and settings); erase your data (delete your account and all associated data); restrict processing (limit how we use your data); data portability (export your data in a machine-readable format); object to processing (opt-out of certain data uses); and withdraw consent (for processing based on consent). To exercise these rights, go to Account Settings or contact info@reangle.ai. We will respond within 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA). We may verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except for: billing records (retained for 7 years for tax/audit purposes); anonymized analytics data (retained indefinitely); and data required for legal compliance or dispute resolution. Backups containing your data are automatically deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email and in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will maintain a changelog of privacy policy updates on this page.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Know: You can request disclosure of personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you in the past 12 months.
- Right to Delete: You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., legal compliance, fraud prevention).
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do NOT sell your personal information. If this changes, we will provide an opt-out mechanism.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
